Q: Who are Bleep UK PLC?

Bleep UK PLC is a supplier, designer and manufacturer of innovative, flexible and reliable EPOS solutions and touch screen till systems. We cater for bars, nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, cafes, colleges, universities, stadia, arenas and retail shops and is one of the UK’s only companies to design and manufacture its own EPOS terminals. We have been established since 1981 and have serviced the retail and hospiatlity markets throughout this time.


Q: What is POS?

Point of Sale (POS) is the location where a transaction occurs, usually where goods are sold to customers, an area where a till, cash register or touch screen terminal can be found.


Q: What is EPOS?

Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) are the electronic devices used to process transactions and capture data at a point of sale, such as our touch screen till hardware, chip and pin devices etc.

Q: Why do I need an EPOS system?

A Bleep EPOS system, including a market leading touch screen till terminal, can help improve staff productivity, customer experience and spend per head levels, while providing greater overall control and management over your entire operation.


Q: Do you actually design, develop and manufacture your EPOS terminals yourself, or are you a supplier or reseller?

We are one of the very few EPOS companies in the UK which designs, develops and manufactures the hardware and we also write our own software applications. Bleep UK PLC is extremely committed to Research and Development and a large budget is apportioned to this on an annual basis. In short, a touch screen till terminal with Bleep’s name on it is designed and manufactured directly by Bleep!


Q: Why do you not have prices on your website?

Each solution and system is tailor made and unique to each client, therefore pricing varies accordingly. We would much rather present each quote directly to our clients, illustrating our customer focussed approach and emphasis upon building close working relationships with our clients.

Q: Do you provide Support?

We pride ourselves on having the most robust and reliable terminals on the market however customer support is one of our primary concerns. As standard, Bleep offers support all year round (excluding Christmas Day and New Years Day) from 9am to 10.30pm. We also operate a simple swap-out system to further limit customer inconvenience. Over 90% of service calls are satisfactorily handled over the telephone support line during the initial call.


Q: Do you provide Maintenance?

Our equipment comes with a 12 month full parts and labour warranty and our full maintenance agreement covers all hardware and software defects with an aimed response time of 4 hours to resolve your issues.


Q: What is W-BO?

Web Back Office (W-BO) is operated on a managed web-server and charged by a monthly subscription based on functionality required. Features available include sales analysis, stock control, EPOS integration to CCTV, fridge/freezer temperature monitoring, customer accounts and loyalty management and wireless drink dispense monitoring.

Q: How will we be trained on our new Bleep equipment?

A two stage training program is considered to be the most effective. Basic training is provided with the system installation with a follow up training session a short time after. Training can be carried out on-site or at a Bleep office. Full manuals and documentation are provided.
