Bleep UK PLC supplied a complete EPOS and Payment solution for the merchandise shops at the 2018 Golf Championship at Carnoustie in Scotland, which ran from the 19thto the 22ndJuly.
This prestigious installation consisted of 42 Bleep TS-915 terminals, each with a built-in laser scanners for scanning barcodes, receipt printers and customer facing POS Media displays, for point of sale advertising and engagement. Each terminal was then directly integrated with an Ingenico iPP350 pin pad for fast and secure card payment processing – with no manual keying errors. All terminals reported back to Bleep’s cloud based Web Back Office, allowing for live, real time, sales and stock information for management staff, from any internet enabled device, in any location.
The Bleep EPOS system was installed in the official shops on the Carnoustie course, with the bulk of the terminals situated in the megastore. The Open Shop featured a range of headwear and apparel, outerwear, children’s clothing, luggage, homeware, leather goods and golf accessories.
